NOSE

For many people, the nose can be a source of complex, especially if they are dissatisfied with its appearance. This may be due to its shape, size, curvature, or other features that don't match their aesthetic preferences or are perceived as deviant from social norms.

Fortunately, there are solutions to correct these perceived imperfections.

Aesthetic medicine offers non-surgical solutions to improve the appearance of the nose. This can include the use of hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin injections to correct minor imperfections such as nasal bumps, slight asymmetries or drooping nose tips.

Plastic surgery, in particular rhinoplasty, can reshape the nose to improve its appearance and correct defects that cause feelings of complexity.

The decision between nose surgery (rhinoplasty) and injections to reshape the nose depends on a number of factors, including the desired results, the complexity of the desired changes, and the individual characteristics of the nose and face.

NOSE SURGERY (RHINOPLASTY)

Advantages :

  • Enables significant structural changes, including modification of nose size, shape and function.
  • Permanent results.
  • Can correct respiratory problems or congenital defects.

Disadvantages :

  • Invasive surgical procedure with longer recovery period.
  • Risks associated with anesthesia and surgery, including infection, bleeding, asymmetry or unsatisfactory results.
  • More expensive than injections.

NOSE INJECTIONS (MEDICAL RHINOPLASTY)

Advantages :

  • Non-surgical procedure, generally performed in a doctor's office with little or no downtime.
  • Less invasive and less risky than surgery.
  • Can be used to correct minor imperfections or to slightly adjust the shape of the nose.

Disadvantages :

  • Temporary results, requiring follow-up injections to maintain appearance.
  • Limited ability to deal with major structural problems or make significant changes.
  • May not be suitable for all nose types or aesthetic purposes.
