Lips

The face is analyzed in movement. The beauty of the face lies in the mimicry and the pout. We must therefore always take this into account, so as never to freeze a look or block a smile. As the years go by, the skin can relax and fat can distribute itself differently, giving the face a stern, sad or tired look in which we no longer recognize ourselves. The aim of facial rejuvenation surgery is to restore radiance without distorting or transforming the face.

Liplift (Upper lip lift)

A liplift, also known as an upper lip lift, is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to rejuvenate the appearance of the upper lip by repositioning it, reducing the distance between the lip and the nose, and exposing more of the pink part of the lip.

Over time, some people may notice a lengthening of the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip, which can give the appearance of aging or a stretched mouth. Liplift aims to correct this problem by creating a natural elevation of the upper lip.

During the liplift procedure, the plastic surgeon usually makes an incision under the nose, hidden in the natural crease. Through this incision, he adjusts the position of the upper lip by removing excess skin and repositioning the tissues. This technique produces natural results and improves facial harmony.

Recovery from a liplift varies from person to person, but generally requires a rest and healing period of one to two weeks. Bruising and swelling may occur, but these diminish over time.

Liplift results are usually visible once swelling and bruising have subsided, and offer a more youthful, balanced appearance of the upper lip area.
