Nymphoplasty

Nymphoplasty, also known as labiaplasty, is a cosmetic surgical procedure to alter the size or shape of the labia minora (the inner lips of the vulva) in women. This procedure is generally performed on women who are bothered by enlarged or asymmetrical labia minora, or who experience physical or psychological discomfort.

During a nymphoplasty, the plastic surgeon removes excess tissue from the labia minora to reduce their size or reshape them according to the patient's wishes. The procedure can be performed under local or general anesthesia, depending on the patient's preference and the extent of the operation.

Nymphoplasty can be performed for aesthetic or functional reasons. In addition to improving the aesthetic appearance of the external genitalia, nymphoplasty can also help reduce physical discomfort, such as uncomfortable rubbing or pain during physical or sexual activities.
