MORPHEUS 8: What's that?
MORPHEUS 8 is an innovation in aesthetic and anti-aging medicine, a technology that combines radiofrequency energy and microneedling to firm and reshape the skin of the face, neck and body. Results are targeted, precise and long-lasting.
Radiofrequency delivers electromagnetic waves that produce heat in the skin. This stimulates fibroblasts to produce elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid, three essential components of skin firmness and tone.
Microneedling is the medium that delivers these electromagnetic waves to the target areas.
Morpheus 8 can be performed all year round on all skin tones, and has the advantage of being non-invasive.

MORPHEUS 8: How a session unfolds
- Skin preparation: The area to be treated will be cleansed, and an anaesthetic cream or local anaesthetic may be applied to minimize discomfort during the procedure.
- Treatment: Treatment is performed by a physician. Micro-needles are inserted into the skin at different depths depending on treatment needs. Once the needles have reached the fatty tissue, MORPHEUS 8 has a triple action:
- Contraction of connective tissue for improved firmness and elasticity.
- Sub-necrotic warming to treat skin depressions.
- Coagulation and reduction of subcutaneous fatty tissue.
A MORPHEUS 8 session lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. A treatment generally comprises 3 or 4 sessions spaced 2 months apart, depending on the condition of the skin.
- End of treatment: Once the target area has been treated, the doctor will remove the microneedles and usually apply a soothing product or moisturizer to the skin.
- After-effects: There will be some redness and swelling for a few hours. You can resume your activities immediately. Women can apply make-up the day after the MORPHEUS 8 treatment. After your treatment, we recommend that you keep well hydrated, avoid direct exposure to the sun and protect yourself with sunscreen.
