Choi® FUE DHI Hair Transplant

The Choi® FUE DHI hair transplant is an advanced hair restoration technique that provides a long-lasting solution for hair loss in both men and women.

This method involves harvesting hair follicles from the patient and then reimplanting them one by one into the balding areas to achieve a natural, harmonious, and long-lasting result.

At myclinic, we exclusively use the Choi® FUE DHI technique, which is recognized for its precision, its gentle approach to grafts, and the quality of its results.

What is the Choi® FUE DHI method?

The technique combines two complementary approaches:

  • FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction): Follicles are harvested individually from the donor area, which is usually located at the back of the head.
  • DHI Choi® (Direct Hair Implantation): The follicles are then implanted directly using a Choi® implanting stylus, which allows for precise control of the angle, direction, and depth of each graft.

This precision ensures a natural hairline and a density tailored to each patient.

Indications

The Choi® FUE DHI hair transplant is particularly recommended for:

• androgenetic alopecia in men
• loss of hair density in women
• receding hairline
• thinning temples
• sparse areas of the scalp
• certain types of scalp scars

Each transplant case undergoes a personalized evaluation to determine the feasibility of the treatment and set realistic goals.

Procedure Overview

A preliminary consultation allows us to assess the quality of the donor area, the extent of hair loss, and the patient's goals.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia.

The follicles are harvested individually and then reimplanted one by one using the Choi® stylus according to a personalized treatment plan.

The procedure usually lasts several hours, depending on the number of grafts needed.

The patient goes home the same day.

Results

Transplanted hair usually falls out in the weeks following the procedure, which is part of the normal process.

Hair regrowth begins gradually starting in the third or fourth month.

The results continue to change over several months, with a gradual improvement in density and volume.

The final results are generally visible 12 to 18 months after the procedure.

Recommended protocol

The number of grafts required depends on the area to be treated, the desired density, and the quality of the donor site.

During the consultation, the surgeon develops a personalized plan to precisely define the goals and the number of grafts needed.

Additional PRF sessions may be recommended to optimize hair regrowth and scalp recovery.

Post-Procedure Care

Small scabs and temporary redness may appear in the days following the transplant.

These effects are normal and gradually disappear as the wound heals.

Specific instructions regarding aftercare, washing your hair, and resuming normal activities are provided after the procedure.

A Long-Term Solution for Hair Loss

The Choi® FUE DHI hair transplant procedure restores hair density permanently using the patient's own follicles.

Thanks to precise, personalized placement, it delivers natural, harmonious, and long-lasting results while respecting the unique characteristics of each face.
