Postoperative Care
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia in the operating room.
A splint is usually worn for about a week to protect the nose during the first few days of healing.
Swelling and bruising around the eyes may occur temporarily.
It is often possible to resume daily activities after about ten days.
Sports are generally resumed gradually after a few weeks, in accordance with the surgeon's recommendations.
Results
The first changes are visible after the splint is removed.
The results then continue to improve gradually over the course of several months as the swelling subsides.
The final results are generally visible 6 to 12 months after the procedure.
